As a freelance graphic designer, one of my favorite things is watching someone's dreams come to life right in front of them. There's something special about witnessing someone's vision become reality. Whether it is the first time a new business owner sees their company's new brand identity and custom-designed logo or a family's smiles and laughter as new traditions (complete with bragging rights) are born, unveiling a new design to a client is always a thrill.

A startup home-based business ready to jump into online sales. The client started her line of bath products after finding a lack of high-quality products with simple ingredients at reasonable prices. After years of giving away her products as gifts and accepting a limited number of special requests to sell, she’s decided to make the leap into turning her hobby into a home-based business prepared to handle significant growth.

The Wood Lab

Logo & Branding

The Wood Lab’s owner came to me to create a logo and branding package after his custom cutting boards and jewelry started gaining attention at local stores and markets. His company grew out of a love of the outdoors and “too much time on my hands”, and the time spent learning and perfecting his skills in his woodshop under the watchful eye of the family Labrador retriever inspired him to name his company The Wood Lab.

Student Cornerstone Project

A fictional music festival celebrating Oklahoma’s rich music history, set against downtown Tulsa’s impressive Art Deco architecture, featuring the music industry’s hottest stars and local favorites. To create a complete brand experience, I created a website, animated banner ad, logo, poster, mobile app, streetlight banner, and more.

Father's Day Axe Throwing

A new couple wanted to start a new tradition to bring their families together, and their Father's Day Axe Throwing Competition was born. To mark the annual occasion, they wanted a Papa Bear character that captured the traits they each associated with their father: warm, caring, and with a great sense of humor. Alongside the character, we created a Certificate of Achievement for the winner and a T-shirt design for all the participants.
